BEAR HUNTING

We hunt mountains side meadows, clear-cuts, logging roads, and valley bottoms where the bears can be found feeding on spring grasses, buds, and newgrowth usually in May. We do a lot of glassing in theseareas and careful stalk is made taking terrain and wind direction into consideration. All hunts are strictly fair chase.

 

• We have a limit of two hunters for the spring hunts.
• Bear tags are good when bought before the April 14th for the fall as well.
• Give us a call to set up you dates in May and return the our contract and deposit to us.
• Take the bear ID test from the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks website. Make sure to print your certificate out after you've passed the test.
• Fill out the application to recieve your bear license.
